About Me.
I was born in Birmingham and I'm a proud Brummie and love the way the city and the West Midlands has evolved over the last decade. Its amazing to see its transformation on to the world stage.

My father landed here from the Punjab, India in the late 1950's. He was a carpenter and builder by trade and I worked with him long before leaving school. So it's no wonder that I have always been able to turn my hands to anything to do with tools and making things.
So basically I'm a chip of the old block..
I live in Solihull with my long suffering partner Jose. Having just finished a hands-on remodel of the entire house and grounds over the last couple of years, it's time to now relax and enjoy it. So whenever I can I now work from home overlooking the woods and all the amazing goings on with the wildlife.
My happy place..
I'm a foodie and love to cook, though the aftermath of the cook, the kitchen is not a pretty site (is that a normal bloke thing?)

I enjoy nature photography, long walks and nothing beats an evening firepit with a glass of red after a crazy day...and breath..

What I've Learned.
I've witnessed the ups and downs of recessions and booms. My personal experiences have taught me that throughout it all, its those people that stand on and by your side that matter. Money comes and goes. Relationships and loyalty matter so much more, its these things that will count when you need it most.

As I've always said,
We age with our stories, not our years.
My Path Ahead.
My goals now in 2024 is to do more mentoring and to give back to society and support charities where I can help move the needle in some way.

My Mantras.
Always tell the truth, you will thank yourself later.
Build the team, then build the dream.
Pay it Forward, it’s good for the soul.
Bathroom City
Founder and Chairman of Bathroom City
Established in 1986
One of the most successful retail bathroom companies in the UK.

Proudly still trading from our original roots in Tyseley, Birmingham since 1986. Back then there was no internet or social media. So this tiny new business with one staff had to build up its local client base and rely on word of mouth.

Many years later having built up a brilliant team of people along the way our success story is something we are all proud of.

Paul, on the left was with us 35 years until he retired a few months ago. Paul and the others have today helped us to become a national brand that is hugely respected in the industry. We have several staff that have been with me over 20 years. Toni, far left has been with us 19 years and now heads up the Trade side. Katie, on the right, recently won Apprentice of the Year with us. Proving this business cares deeply about its people, it really is like a family business.
